Faith is a critical ingredient of the Christian journey. Often we profess promises in the Bible or receive prophecies that have been spoken to them. The question is what are you doing about it? There is a Doing required in faith. If a farmer has faith that it’s going to rain and bless his crops and he does not plant the crops in the first place then it’s of no value. The Bible says if we have faith as small as a mustard seed we can move mountains. Even though the promise sounded incredulous to Sarah in her old age Abe she is said to have laughed. The Bible records that she believed who had promised and we all know that children don’t magnet onto the womb. There is work to be done to align to the promise. Think about the number of years it took Noah to build the ark convincing others and being scorned by friends and family. Yet he kept on Doing despite having no record of a similar flood of that magnitude ever happening before then. Do you have a promise from God? Do you believe? Then start to do? Take the small steps today and your faith will be increased as you build the substance of the things hoped for....
