Take the step of faith: Launch forward

“And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name. Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians. And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the Lord this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.” 1 Kings 5:5-7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ki.5.5-7.kjv

Take the step of faith: Launch forward

Are you asking? The Bible tells us that we will hear a voice telling us where to go but the key though is that you have to go. Sometimes we have some kingdom assignments that we have no idea as to how we can accomplish them. However what is not often realized is that the resources have been placed around you and in some cases in the custody of others but you have to take the bold step of faith to ask. In the Bible reading today, Solomon needed to build the altar for God based on the conversation that David his father had with God. But the trees that he needed were in Lebanon and so when the King of Tyre reached out to greet Solomon, he took the opportunity to present his request. If he did not ask, the king Hiram may not know what he needed. Besides the king needed something from Solomon which was in abundance - food and so he was glad that Solomon reached out. So question today is: What is God putting in your heart to do and you are wondering how that is possible given your assessment of your capability and resources? Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see where the resources are around you and then receive the courage to move forward like Solomon.

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your love and for your assignments in my life. Please open my eyes and grant me divine inspiration to see the partners of destiny that you have surrounded me with to carry out the assignment. I receive the strength to go forth in confidence to fulfill your mandate 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
