Tell the generations to come
“I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:” Psalm 78:2-5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.78.2-5.kjv

The Bible says “Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors” (Prov 22:28). In addition to fulfilling God’s mandates for our lives, we have the added responsibility of passing on the instructions to our children biological and spiritual. An ancient landmark when not appropriately identified to a child can be pulled down in ignorance. The statutes of God that are critical for life must be explained. The great deliverances that God performed and the punishments for sin must be shared with the next generation so that they don’t replay the sins as seen in the chapter of the Bible reading today. Are you equipping the next generation after you?
Prayer: Dear Lord, please help me to deliver my assignment and to lead those in my charge accordingly so that I don’t fail in the assignment of grooming the next generation 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
