Halleluyah...He is risen!!!!!!! The Lamb of God that was slain to redeem us back to the father rose from the death thousands of years ago and so we have confidence to approach the father when we accept his Lordship. However the ruler of the earth, the slave master general, the devil and his cohorts do not give up easily. They continue to wage war on the redemption offered by Christ through all sorts of means. In the days of the apostles, it was through terror and great persecution. In present days, the war takes on additional dimensions including intellectual wars to dissuade the very elect by providing ‘rational reasons’ why it does not make sense to enter or remain under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The Bible reading today is one of the places where we are reminded that despite the wars that are waged, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings as evidenced by his conquering of death itself will always win and will certainly win the final battle at the end of it all. Question is, whose side will you be on?

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your saving grace. Thank you for taking on the form of a human to deliver us from fear of bondage showing us the redemption in the blood. I accept your Lordship. Help me to stay faithful and victorious 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
