The Bible tells us that in the multitude of words, you cannot miss sin and that a person that controls his tongue is considered wise. In today’s Bible reading, we are told that a wise person keeps some information within whereas the fool utters all of his mind. In addition, the person that is always hasty to talk is considered worse than a fool according to the text. Hence, it is important that we guard our tongue diligently so that it can be reserved for its divine assignment because the Bible tells us that the power of life and death resides in the tongue.  Just like you would not leave a gun to be discharging carelessly so should you not leave your tongue unguarded. Choose wisely.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank you for your love and for your divine correction in love. Please Lord I commit my ways afresh into your hands. Please help me to control my tongue. Let it speak life and not condemnation to me and others in Jesus name. Let the fruit of my tongue blossom into a tree of life 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
