The lord will return to judge the earth. The angels told the disciples at the ascension that the same Jesus that is taken up will return in the same way. The Bible also asks us that when the son of man will return, will he meet faith in the earth? The Bible reading today tells us that our Lord cometh and he will judge the world with righteousness and his people with truth. So the question is: Where do you stand? Will you rejoice at his coming with the confidence that the prince of this world has nothing in you? Or will you be ashamed that you fall short of the King of Kings’ criteria?  The decisions and activities that you carry out today are a big indicator of your response at that time. Choose wisely.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the assurance of your return to take your saints with you. Please Lord, give me the grace to know your ways and follow you steadfastly so that my rejoicing at your return will be assured in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
