War is often called a leveler. This is because when you hear stories of those who escaped or are refugees of war-torn areas, you realize that it’s very difficult to separate those who were rich from those who were poor before the war in the aftermath of the destruction that follows the war. As I meditate of the reading today, I realize that so many times, people argue against faith based on certain scientific positions. However it becomes interesting when there starts to be a convergence in those view points.. While there are scientists that forecast a collapsing of the earth as we know it and all other theories of the sun imploding; the Bible in Revelations tells of a terrible day when all the things we hold dear lose their relevance. The Great Leveler in which there will be no distinction between the rich and the poor; servant and master. There is however respite for those who have been marked in their hearts for the Lord... How prepared are you?
