God makes all things beautiful in its time. The Bible also tells us that when a man’s way pleases God, even his enemies will be at peace with him. In the fullness of time, David was to become king in Israel and the chapter of the Bible reading today talked about how many men of war came to David to make him king. They were in their thousands. Well, this after years in which David was on the run with his small circle of faithfuls. But when the time finally came, a great army was available to enthrone him.  When some of the early sets showed up to David, he wanted to know where their allegiance was and the response was very interesting. They were there to help him because first the Lord had helped him. If there is one thing that is critical for the victory in life’s endeavor, it is the help of God.
