The intentionality of God

“And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety. And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.” Leviticus 25:19-21 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/lev.25.19-21.kjv

The intentionality of God

Our God is so intentional. He plans out for our needs well in advance of when we may ever need them. This is why Jesus told us not to be worried about our provisions because God takes cares of even the birds of the sky. This is the confidence with which Apostle Paul also said in the book of Philippians that the Lord shall provide all my needs according to his riches in glory. God’s capacity and intentionality are beyond imagination.  In today’s Bible reading, God was giving instructions to Israelites as they were going into the promised land about rest and sabbaths in the 7th year. He anticipated their questions about what they would eat in the seventh year if they were resting and he told them that the sixth year will yield enough increase to cover three years. God’s ways are past finding out. When we trust him completely and follow his instructions, the blessed outcomes will consistently exceed our imaginations.  The Bible says that ears have not heard and eyes have not seen what God has in stock for those that love him. Do you love, trust and obey him?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the ruler over all. Thank you for being our provider and the All-sufficient God. Lord, as I look to you in complete trust and obedience, please come through for me and beat my imagination and the world’s with your goodness in my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
