Stubbornness in the face of divine warning is very dangerous. The Bible tells us to seek the Lord while he is near and that if the wicked and unrighteousness change their ways and seek God that he will abundantly pardon. The Bible reading today was a warning to Israel that God would bring to pass the evil pronouncements against the land because they remained hard hearted despite several warnings.  This suggests that there may have been a window of opportunity to be saved from the impending doom if only they had repented. The Bible also tells us that if God’s people should humble themselves and pray and seek God’s face while turning away from their wicked ways that he will heal the land. This means that we all have a responsible to deliver our land from impending judgement.  The acts that God was so bitter with the Israelites about that necessitated his strong judgement are so rampant today. So the question for you is: What part are you playing as a child of God to deliver us collectively from judgement?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are plenteous in mercies. Please Lord we ask for your mercy first upon us as your children for not taking our place to warn the land of your judgement. And Lord we seek your face to have mercy on our land. Look upon us with Favour and heal us for your namesake in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
