The laws of harvest

And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people. And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings. 1 Kings 14:2, 6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ki.14.2-6.kjv

The laws of harvest

Our God cannot be mocked and he tells us that whatsoever a person sows is what they will reap. When a person sows corruption, it is harvested in multiple folds. In the bible reading today, Jeroboam who had perverted the ways of Isreal now had need for guidance over his sick son and had to get his wife disguised to go seek the answers. But our God who sees clearly in the darkest night was waiting and pronounced punishment on Jeroboam and his lineage in addition to the death of the sick child. A man cannot outsmart God and His patience in waiting for your repentance must not be taken as a sign of weakness or endorsement of evil deeds. If you have wandered away from his will and led others along with you, then its time for rethink and repentance before the judgement of God comes like a flood.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your saving grace and for your long suffering. Please Lord have mercy on me and let your merch speak over judgments for any acts of disobedience or defiance in my life. I seek you afresh, please let me be find you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
