Total Trust in God

“And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall. Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.” Isaiah 22:10-11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.22.10-11.kjv

Total Trust in God

The Bible tells us to trust in God with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. This is because according to another verse of the Bible, there is a way that seems right to man but at the end is destruction. In the Bible reading today, God was cautioning Jerusalem over some of their acts such as breaking down houses to fortify the wall. They made certain decisions without reckon to the maker and those who had designed it previously. While there are so many changes happening around us as the world evolves, we are enjoined as Christian’s not to remove the ancient landmarks, the foundational truths that our fathers of faith had laid out under the instruction of God. Recall that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forevermore. The foundation of God stands sure and he knows those that are is. If you are a child of God then you must depart from iniquity.  Trust God completely and follow his instructions so as not to remove landmarks of faith and incur God’s displeasure.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you remain the same forever. Please teach me your ways and help me to follow your presets so that I can thrive in the blessing of a divinely-guided life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
