Touch not my anointed
“Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because he pursued his brother with the sword, And cast off all pity; His anger tore perpetually, And he kept his wrath forever.” Amos 1:11 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/amo.1.11.NKJV

Be careful of being a co-conspirator against the anointed of God because when his defender arises, he pronounces judgement on all parties. The psalmist asks a question. He says “Why do the heathens rage and the people imagine a vain thing?”. He then goes on to talk about the kings of the earth gathering together to deal with God’s anointed. He says that God will first laugh at the insult and then he will speak to them in his anger. At God’s words, mountains are moved. So, you can only imagine what can happen when he speaks in anger. In the Bible reading today, God was proclaiming judgement on the various nations that had oppressed Israel. Each one got their punishment including Edom who God says raised his sword against his ‘brother’ Israel along with some other nations. Be careful where you pitch your tent. Be careful of oppressing God’s anointed even when it appears that they may be in a phase of discipline for wrong doings. God’s mark remains on his chosen. Be careful.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the helper of the helpless, the defender of those who have no one. Please Lord, arise and fight my battles. Please show to the world that I carry your mark as your child in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
