Service is a critical element of the christian faith. In today’s Bible reading, Jesus was comparing spiritual leadership with the methods that are used in the secular world. He let his disciples know that the person who would be great in the kingdom must do so from a place of service. Jesus Christ himself is an example of service. He went around doing good, healing the sick and delivering the oppressed so much so that his fame was noised across the cities.  So, are you committed to service in God’s kingdom? If the answer is yes, then get ready for a new level of greatness. God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because despite your majesty, you chose to die for my sins. Please help me to serve according to your dictates. Let my life and home be blessed and increased as a result of service in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
