Trust in God vs men

“And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire. And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the Lord delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me?” Judges 12:1, 3 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/jdg.12.1,3.kjv

Trust in God vs men

Our salvation is indeed of the Lord and not of man. The Bible says that the heart of man is desperately wicked, who can know it?…… The men of Ephraim in the Bible reading today were the true definition of strong men and household principalities. They were never around to fight for Isreal but as soon as the battle is won, they start making accusations as to why weren’t they called to help out. This had happened in the time of Gideon. Well, their cup was now full and they were dealt with this time. The key message is to put our trust in the right place… in God. He is the dependable, reliable deliverer.

Prayer: Father, I trust you. Please fight all my battles within and without 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
