Unity of Purpose
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/ecc.4.9-12.kjv

There is strength in unity or purpose. The Bible reading today highlights some benefits of two being better than one such as improved benefits for labour due to synergies. Others include improved vigilance, restoration and strength. The Bible also tells us that God commands his blessings in the place of unity. While two and three are better than one, it can be worse than being one though when the group is working without unity of purpose. So, if you are in a partnership, relationship or agreement and the benefits don’t appear to be evident, you need to question if there is indeed unity of focus and purpose.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the assurance of your presence and guidance. Please open my eyes to see the partners of destiny that you have put into my life and help me to leverage the benefits that come from a divine partnership. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
