God watches over his promises to fulfill them. The Bible tells us that the vision is for an appointed time, though it appears to be delaying, it would not miss its set time. God assures us that he watches over his words to fulfill them and not one piece of his words would go without fulfilling the purpose for which it has been sent. God does it in such a way that it is clear what exactly is being fulfilled. If in doubt, think of the story of Joseph when his brothers eventually bowed down to him.  In the Bible reading today, we see the story of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. We were told that the specific details of how it was done was so that the words that had been prophesied eons ago can come to pass.  Has he promised you? He will make it good. He makes all things beautiful in His time. Wait for the promise no matter how hard it seems. The joy of its fulfillment will be worth the wait.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the one who declares the end from the beginning, the all-knowing and all-sufficient God. Thank you for your promises to us your children and your individual promises to me. Lord, please grant me the grace for full partnership with you on the journey to fulfillment and let the glory be evident to all in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
