Wait on God
”And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.“ Genesis 21:1-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.21.1-3.kjv

The Bible tells us that God is not a man than he should lie or the son of man that he should repent. Has he said it, shall he not do it? Has he promised and shall he not make it good? He keeps his promises. In today’s Bible reading, we see that God came through for Sarah with undeniable evidence of laughter with Isaac being born in her old age. When we partner with him and stay in his will, he keeps his promises. In the appointed time he comes through. In that time that fits in within the grand scheme of his mission in the world, in that area of your assignment, he comes through with his promises. If in doubt imagine the disdain that Pharaoh would have had for Joseph if he was brought before him just one day before he had his disturbing dream. He would have judged him a stranger and a prisoner for that matter, unworthy to stand before the number 1 office of the land. But after he had a problem that he was unable to solve in his disturbing dream, Joseph’s assignment in the land of Egypt was activated. Imagine if somehow Joseph was able to bribe his way out of prison and was not available on the day of his visitation. He would have assumed that he was enjoying himself in freedom whereas his office in the second highest office of the land was vacant. Furthermore, pharaoh may not have received the answer he needed and the famine would have consumed the land including Joseph. So, key point is: Has God said it? He will do it. Partner with him. Wait on him. He comes through at the appointed time.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the omniscient God who knows the end from beginning. You are the alpha and the omega. Please Lord, help me to be patient, willing and obedient so that in your appointed time, I will eat the good of the land in the season of abundance that you have prepared for me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
