Walk in the full Liberty
“And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:” Leviticus 12:6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/lev.12.6.kjv

When John the Baptist saw Jesus, he exclaimed ‘Behold the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world’. When we look at instances like the Bible reading today which is one of the many requirement for various kinds of cleansing that the Israelites were required to do, then we appreciate the profoundness of the statement that John the Baptist made. This divine being who came in the form of flesh to die for the sin of the world and open the veil of the temple for us to approach the throne of the father covered by his atoning blood offered to us such an immense privilege. The question though is what are you doing with that privilege. Are you walking in the full liberty that we have received or are you entwining yourselves back into the enticing slavery of sin? The grace that has been made available is a privilege that should not be passed off. The consequences have eternal implications. Be wise.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the privilege to come boldly to the throne of grace because of the price that was paid upfront on my behalf. Lord I receive grace to walk in the fullness of the overarching grace that Jesus provides. Let me live worthy of the sacrifice that was made on my behalf to the glory of your name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
