Willingness in Obedience

โ€œBlessed be the LORD my strength, Which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: My goodness, and my fortress; My high tower, and my deliverer; My shield, and he in whom I trust; Who subdueth my people under me.โ€ Psalm 144:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.144.1-2.kjv

Willingness in Obedience

Do you trust God enough to obey him completely even when the instruction may not make sense to your human mind? In the Bible reading today, the psalmist says that God is the one who strengthens him and teaches him to war and his fingers to fight. However, what I find most profound is the fact that he confirms that it is in God that he trusts. This is very fundamental because God is full of wisdom and he sees the end from the beginning.ย  He is always willing to teach us, his children, but we have the free will to accept those leadings. Your willingness to obey is an indication of your trust level. The Bible tells us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not to lean on our own understanding. It goes further to say that if we acknowledge him in all our ways then he will direct our paths. So, trust is the fuel for complete guidance and divine success. Do you trust God completely?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for being there for us. Lord please help me to trust you completely. Give me the grace to obey so that I can reap the benefits of the abundant blessing of a divinely guided life in Jesus name ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ.
