The secret to victory is the worship of the Lord Almighty. In the Bible reading today, Judah was pitched to fight against the rest of Israel. At that point, Jeroboam who was king over the rest of Israel had created idols to prevent the people from going down to Jerusalem to worship. This became the selling point of Ahijah the king of Judah reminding Israel that they (Judah) still worshiped the true Lord while the others now worshiped graven image. The battle was won by the side of the Lord.  Can you make boast that you worship God? Or have you been focused on the other things and idols that take you away from the worship of God. That’s a recipe for disaster. Turn to God today and be victorious in the battle of life.
