Wisdom is principal
“Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? Or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, And warmeth them in dust, And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, Or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: Her labour is in vain without fear; Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, Neither hath he imparted to her understanding.” Job 39:13-17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.39.13-17.kjv

The Bible tells us that Wisdom is the principal thing and that in all of our getting we should get understanding. We also know that wisdom comes from the Lord. This is corroborated in today’s Bible reading that gives the example of the Ostrich who appears to be hardened to her offspring and careless with her eggs. The root cause of the various manifestation is the absence of wisdom and understanding from God. As such as children of God, rather than seeking for riches and material blessings, we must crave for the wisdom of God in all things. We must also pray for others too because sometimes the things we see as wickedness and unreasonableness is really because wisdom has been withheld from such a person.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the all-knowing and only wise God. Thank you Lord for your impartation of wisdom and understanding. Please Lord, I asked for a renewed gift of wisdom to navigate life’s issues with the confidence of your guidance that all the glory may be yours always 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
