Write the Vision down

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest. And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel. And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.” Exodus 34:1, 27-28 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.34.1-28.kjv

Write the Vision down

Write it down!!!!! The Bible tells us in the book of Habakkuk to write the vision and make it plain so that those that see the vision will run with it. The vision will always come to pass at its appointed time but in the meantime there is a partnership required in the waiting process and often a need to remind one’s self or journey partners what God said or promised. In today’s Bible reading, God was keen on documenting his commandments for Israel that he asked Moses to come back for another one-on-one session.  He was to come with tables of stone similar to the first one that Moses broke in anger when he saw the Israelites dancing before the golden calf. In addition to the commandments, he wanted Moses to document the promises and the expectations of Israelites in relation to those that God was evacuating ahead of them. We know that the actual entry was going to take some decades to come to fulfillment because of the actions of Israel, but in the end it was recorded that God fulfilled everything that he had promised.  He always keeps to his end of the agreement. The onus is on us to note the agreements, the promises and the instructions so that we and those coming along or behind us can have reminders to stay the course. What has God promised you that is fast becoming a fuzzy memory either because of time passed or the circumstances around you. Write it down, and if you already did, revisit the promise and encourage yourself in the Lord.  Also check that you are following the instructions that he has given. He is faithful who has promised.

Prayer:  Dear God, thank you because you are a faithful father. The one who is dependable and reliable. Lord, as I anchor to your promises for me, please come through for me and let your Holy Spirit prompt me always along the path of your instructions into the fulfillment of purpose in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
