Yield Completely to God

“Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:3-4, 9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/hag.2.3-9.kjv

Yield Completely to God

We are not moved by what we see, Halleluyah…. The glory of the Lord bridges the gap. Sometimes by human standards, we give up on certain kingdom assignments because in our sight we are not good enough. In the Bible reading today, there was an acknowledgement that the temple of God that was now being built by the remnants and returnees from captivity was nothing compared to the initial temple that was demolished.  Despite the fact that was before them, God asked them to proceed with the work to focus on the assignment before them. He gave the assurance of his glory that would fill the house resulting in the glory of the latter house being greater than the former. Again, God’s glory bridges any gap that may exist by our human perception. Just yield completely to God and see his glory make the difference but remember you must put in the work as that shows that you trust completely the one who has instructed you to move forward.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are indeed the Lord of Glory. Thank you for your glory that makes the difference. Thank you for your assignments for my life. As I yield completely to you, please fill me with your glory and let the difference be evident to the whole world to see in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
