Yield to God
“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.” Mark 6:3-4, 6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.6.3-6.kjv

The nature or humbleness of your beginnings have no direct correlation with the capacity that you carry on the inside and your ability to deliver on the assignment that God has put in you as his creation. In today’s Bible reading, after a profound teaching in the synagogue, Jesus was being assessed by the people who were awed by his teaching and the miracles that he had done. In their minds, they could not draw a correlation with the person in front of them and his beginning and labels as the son of the carpenter. It doesn’t matter where you start from, once God in vested in taking you on a journey of impact, he makes available to you all that you need for your impact and journey. Don’t be deterred by those who stamp you with the labels of your beginnings or past. Yield to the one who is able to transform you and bring out the gold for the glory of his name.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for the privilege to call you father. Thank you because the silver and the gold belong to you. Please Lord help me afresh. Fill me up with the capacity for greatness and glory and let it be evident to the world as an examples of the benefits of a life in which you are well pleased in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
