One with God is always a majority. Standing with God provides peace in any circumstance due to the confidence that stems from the one who is backing you. The Bible reading today shows the kind of confidence that comes from having God on your side. You are not confused regardless of the immediate situation because you know that one way or another you would not be put to shame. Like the popular song that says ‘I have backing, I don’t walk alone’ is how the one whose confidence is in God feels stemming from the relationship that exists. So the question today is: Do you have God on your side? If the answer is Yes then you should set your face as a flint because you know that he has you covered. Furthermore, he knows the end from the beginning so he has you proactively covered so there is no need for scrambling. It has been settled from the beginning of times. Though they gather against you, they will surely fail. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are our shield and defender. Thank you because those who dwell in your secret place of fellowship are secured under the shadow of you the Almighty.
