You are royalty
“Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth. Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.” Deuteronomy 14:1-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.14.1-3.kjv

The Lord requires the highest standards from his chosen. The Bible describes the characteristics of those chosen by God. They are called royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people whose main goal is to show forth the glory to God who has called them from darkness into his marvelous light. There are certain things that are not found in and around royalties because it’s not befitting of their status. In today’s Bible reading, the Israelites were told not to cut themselves nor eat abominable things because they have been chosen as a holy nation and peculiar people above all nations. God’s calling upon our lives must be treated with the highest level of respect. So when you think about your actions, ask yourself, is this worthy of royalty? If not retrace yourself into your spiritual identity as a royalty ordained by the highest authority possible.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. Thank you for choosing me to carry your royal DNA. Please Lord, teach your ways daily and grant me grace and discipline to walk worthy of the election in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
