I love the lyrics of one of the verses of a popular hymn that says “What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer”. It is indeed a privilege when a child of God has the ears of the one that does terrible things in righteousness. The psalmist in the Bible reading highlights some of God’s power. Even the mountains, physical or spiritual move at the presence of the Almighty God. Captivity is led captive and freedom granted to the oppressed at his instance. In addition, he loads us with benefits daily starting with the miracle of waking up, on to provisions and deliverances from seen an unseen battles.  Again, it is indeed a rare privilege to have his ear. So the question is: “Do you have his ear?”. The Bible tells us that his hands are not too short to save us or his ears not able to hear us but sin has created a gulf between us and our greatest ally. Hence, it’s important to examine one’s self daily to be sure that heaven’s criteria is met. Then we can rest assured that everything else is settled because one with God indeed is a majority.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the terrible things that you do in righteousness. Thank you for the many deliverances that you have wrought in time past and for the assurance of your presence through the journey of life. Please help me to please you daily so that I can enjoy the benefits of a life that is helped of you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
