God’s thoughts for us are for good and not of evil to give us a hope and a future. The question though is : Are you a partner in that journey? In the Bible reading today, Jeremiah was having a dialogue with God on the verge of Israel going into captivity. He acknowledged God’s capacity, recognizing that there is nothing too hard for God. He then highlighted the miracles that God had done for his people and how he brought them into the land of promise.  Lastly, he pointed out how the Israelites by their disobedience had now brought evil on themselves and were going to be taken out of the land into captivity. It is sad to know that there is still a constant repeat of these sort of engagements in present days where God invests significantly in an individual’s future. Yet due to carelessness and outright disobedience, what would have been a long-standing generational blessing became a fleeting encounter.  God keeps his own part. Are you doing yours? With privilege comes responsibilities.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank you because you are indeed mindful of me and making provisions for lasting blessings. Please Lord help me. Save me from myself. Let the Holyspirit and your word guide me always so that I don’t destroy your plans for me through disobedience in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
